Adult Leadership + Wellness · Ages 26+ · 8-Week Cohort

About the Program

Program Overview

Say Less is an 8-week cohort for Black women 26 and older who are done performing, done over-explaining, and done operating at a fraction of what they are actually capable of. This program is for the woman who has already done some of the work — personal development, therapy, leadership experience — and is ready for something that meets her exactly where she is with no handholding and no filler.

Say Less combines reinvention, community leadership, sustainability, and deep mental and somatic wellness. The arts are the delivery mechanism because at this stage of life, the most honest access point is creative — not clinical, not corporate, not curated. Say Less is what happens when a Black woman stops explaining herself and starts becoming more fully herself.

8-Week Curriculum Arc

What We Cover

WeekThemeWhat We Do
Week 1Where Have You BeenA reckoning and a homecoming. Honest stock of where you are, what you have been carrying, and what has gotten you here. Through narrative writing, name the arc of your own story without apology.
Week 2The Work UnderneathThe interior labor that holds everything else up. Mental wellness, somatic healing, and the nervous system realities of Black women navigating a world that was not built to sustain them.
Week 3Redefining LeadershipLeadership on whose terms? Dismantle inherited definitions of leadership and rebuild your own — honest about power, rooted in culture, sustainable for the long run.
Week 4Letting Go as StrategyWhat are you still holding that is costing you more than it is giving you? Through visual art and facilitated reflection, intentional release — of relationships, beliefs, roles, and ways of being that no longer serve.
Week 5Community LeadershipLeading in and for community — not just professionally. Examine your role in your communities, the legacy you are building, and what it means to lead with accountability to something larger than personal success.
Week 6SustainabilityHow do you build a life you do not have to escape from? The practical and the sacred — rest, rhythm, boundaries, and the architecture of a sustainable life.
Week 7The Next ChapterStrategic visioning and planning for what comes next. A concrete next-chapter plan — grounded in who you actually are, what you actually have, and where you actually want to go.
Week 8The Say Less CeremonyNo more over-explaining. Share one declaration — who you are, what you are claiming, and what you are done with. A closing ritual of presence, power, and community witness.

Frequently Asked

Questions & Answers

Who exactly is this program for?
The Black woman who has been doing the work — professionally, personally, spiritually — and is ready for a container that can hold the full weight of what she is carrying and where she is going. She is not a beginner. She is not lost. She is in the middle of her becoming and she wants company that can keep up.
Is this therapy?
No. Say Less is a leadership and wellness development program led by trauma-aware facilitators. It is not a clinical service. We strongly encourage participants to have their own therapeutic support, especially given the depth of the content.
I have been to a lot of leadership programs. How is this different?
Most leadership programs for Black women are still asking them to justify their presence. Say Less assumes you already belong. The work here is not about proving anything — it is about excavating and expanding what you already are.
Is the program free?
The program fee is $450 per cohort. Sliding scale pricing, financial aid, payment plans, and full scholarships are always available. No woman is turned away for inability to pay.
Can I do both On Purpose and Say Less?
They are different programs designed for different life stages. If you participated in On Purpose and have since turned 26, Say Less is a natural continuation. Reach out and we will talk through what makes sense for where you are.
